Introduction

The M59 M-Module™ is a DSP-based 4-channel data acquisition M-Module™ with 16 bits resolution. The measuring ranges are software-configurable up to a maximum of ±10V. Both AC or DC coupling of the differential inputs is possible. Internal RAM of the DSPs is used as program memory and data buffer.

The M59 was developed for filtering, concentrating and buffering of analog measuring data. Its external trigger options make the M59 an ideal device for multichannel data logging, vibration and switching analysis or automatic measuring equipment. In addition to the standard firmware included, the user can realize his own applications using the development kit by Analog Devices.

The M59 is based on the M-Module™ ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module™ carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers.
