Diamond Point D2104 Rackmount chassis

Introduction

This 19" rack-mount chassis was designed for a customer who had several requirements. The chassis contained a Pentium littleboard, hard-disk, 6.5" TFT LCD panel (on front of chassis), a PSU for the PC components, GPS receiver and a large PSU for some external hardware. On the rear of the chassis various I/O is brought out/taken in such as mains supply, GPS antenna, external VGA, serial ports and outputs to external hardware. On the front of the chassis are power switched and some ps/2 ports for the keyboard and mouse.

The chassis is made out of mild steel and is zinc passivated and is extremely tough. To finish off some silk screening was added to the front face plate and rear I/O giving a professional appearance. Diamond Point designed this chassis and the extensive cabling assembly inside. Diamond Point assemble the unit and fully test the unit for the customer.
