Introduction

This DIMM-PC chassis was designed to encase the D2232 DIMM-PC backplane for a customer. A DIMM-PC CPU module and a DIMM-PC/ETH1 card (giving 10Base-T Ethernet) are inside along with a PC/104 socket and power supply unit. External connectors are power inlet, Ethernet, VGA &

Chassis is made out of mild steel. The chassis is extremely light and compact but is still quite tough. To finish off some silk screening was added giving a professional look.

Diamond Point designed this chassis and the backplane (D2232). Diamond Point also assemble the backplane.
