Introduction

The D2402 was a system designed for a customer with military spec connectors. It contained a Kontron MOPSlcdVE (now EOL) CPU board, a number of Diamond Systems data acquisition boards, a D2406 compact flash card board and a Tri-M HE-104 power supply unit. The whole unit was encased in a Tri-M CanTainer.

The system is completely fanless, and had Windows 2000 installed.

All design work was done in house including the rather arduous task of making the connecting cables for the hundreds of wires required by the specification.
