Introduction

Inside of boxThe D2411 GPS interface box is an IP65 sealed enclosure featuring Trimble's Lassen iQ 12 channel GPS receiver.

The unit is low powered with a consumption of 0.2W and can work off of 12V DC. The unit has an internal battery which retains the almanac.

Output connector features:

  • Power input & ground
  • TX/RX of port 1
  • TX/RX of port 2*
  • PPS output*

* Default configuration does not have these. However, a small rework using a connector with more pins could easily handle these. Additionally, the TTL level serial signals can be brought outside instead of the RS-232 signals for both ports.
