Introduction

The D2506 was a system designed for a customer with military spec connectors. It contained a Kontron MOPSlcdLX CPU board, a hard disk carrier board and a Tri-M HE-104 power supply unit. The whole unit was encased in a Tri-M CanTainer on the VT-EBX tray.

The system is completely fanless, and had Windows XP pre-installed.

All design work was done in house including the rather arduous task of making the connecting cables for the hundreds of wires required by the specification.
