Introduction

This section contains details on the some custom GPS work that has been done for customers recently.

Beer Can Tracker

This is a recent product designed and built by Diamond Point which uses the Trimble Lassen LP and a GSM modem. The product was used in a competition ran by a popular beer company offering tickets to the recent 2002 World Cup in Japan. Once the can was opened, the unit would power up, would get a position fix by finding satellites and then would send the winners location via SMS to the competition hosts so that the winner could be personally presented with the tickets within a few hours.

IP65 Sealed GPS Product
This is a recent product designed and built for a customer who required a high performance GPS board (the Trimble Lassen iQ) in a compact IP rated enclosure.
