MEN Mikro RC1 announced. The box computer RC1 is a rugged, fanless and maintenance-free panel PC for harsh, mobile, missioncritical applications with visualization requirements in transportation, avionics, industrial automation and medical engineering. It features an Intel® Atom™1.1GHz CPU, 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, 4GB SSD and 3.5" LCD display in its default configuration

MEN Mikro P506 quad CAN port PMC available. The P506 is a 32-bit/33MHz PMC with four CAN interfaces. They support CAN Protocol Version 2.0A/B, standard and extended data frames, remote frames, 0..8 bytes data length and a programmable data rate of up to 1 Mbit/s.

MEN Mikro P507 quad RS422/485 Interface PMC available. The P507 is a high-performance quadruple UART with RS422/485 interface. It supports full duplex (with RS422) and half duplex operation (with RS485) and data rates of up to 921,600 bit/s. Each channel has its own 500V isolation, with all ports being available on the 50-pin D-Sub front connector.

MEN Mikro P512 reflective memory PMC board announced. The P512 offers reflective memory functionality e.g. for redundant computer structures in safety-critical applications. Reflective memory is a memory bus technology from Encore Computer that allows simultaneous reads and writes to multiple memories. It can be used to share memory among multiple CPUs. The advantage of reflective memory is the possibility to set up deterministic real-time communication networks across computer systems and operating systems.

New from Diamond Point are Swissbit Compact Flash Cards. Swissbit CF cards are designed, manufactured, and tested to function in demanding conditions or harsh environments. The use of Single Level Cell (SLC) NAND Flash and state-of-the-art flash handling algorithms ensure solid data reliability in terms of endurance and retention. Our CF cards are designed in accordance with specification standards set by the CompactFlash Association (CFA) and are available in densities up to 32GB with an ATA interface supporting all popular data transfer modes including DMA and UDMA and are available in fixed and removable configurations.

Kontron JRexplus-DC 3.5" SBC announced. The board is equipped with the Intel Atom N270 processor running at 1.6 GHz (45 nm technology) and supports up to 2GB of DDR2 memory. Common features for the JRex 3,5" product family are 2 x SATA ports for fast HDD access, USB 2.0 connectivity and 10/100/1000 MBit LAN.

The JRexplus-DC also supports 1 x PATA (IDE) interface and legacy interfaces like 2 x RS232, 1 x LPT and PS2 mouse / KB. 4 x GPIO and a CF card socket round off the list of onboard interfaces. Add-on I/O devices can be adapted via the highspeed miniPCIe port or the PCI-104 bus compatible expansion slot with 32Bit / 33MHz PCI performance.

Trimble Resolution SMT GPS embedded time receiver announced. With major advancements in performance, ease of integration and software flexibility, the Resolution-SMT GPS receiver enables system integrators to add precise GPS to provide location, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and synchronization to many products or systems where cost or size had previously been a limitation.

Just 2.54 mm x 19 mm x 19 mm in size, the surface mount module is provided in tape and reel packaging for low‑cost, high-volume manufacturing.

Kontron picoITX-SP with Atom™ 1.1GHz/1.6GHz CPU announced. The picoITX-SP is the first board in the new Pico-ITX™ form factor from Kontron which measures just 100 mm x 72 mm.

The picoITX-SP features the popular Intel® Atom™ Z510 / Z530 processor, up to 1GB DDRII SDRAM, Intel® Gigabit Ethernet, dual SATA, IDE, 4x USB2.0, HD audio and is powered via 5V only.

The microETXexpress-PC from Kontron brings latest 45 nm performance generations of Intel Core 2 Duo processors with the new SSE4 instruction set and the latest chipset Intel GS45 to a compact 95 x 95 mm module. Its performance is comparable to Kontron’s ETXexpress®-PC, a COM Express basic module.

The board supports up to an Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU up to 1.86 GHz, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, eight USB 2 ports and Gigabit Ethernet.

Diamond Point to drive computing on BLOODHOUND SSC Land speed record attempt.

When the engineering team at Bloodhound SSC needed a reliable partner to provide some of their most stringent embedded computing requirements they naturally considered Diamond Point after previous successful projects. Our popular Athena II processor modules will provide multi channel data acquisition for the development of the Land Speed Record Car’s highly complex control system.

MEN Mikro P511 dual Fast Ethernet PMC board added. The P511 is a 32bit/33MHz PMC with dual Ethernet functionality. The two channels can be accessed via two RJ45 connectors which are led to the front via an adapter cable from a SCSI connector. They support half duplex and full duplex operation.

The newest member of the JRexplus series from Kontron is the 3.5 inch JRexplus- 690 single board computer.It is equipped with the AMD® Turion™ 64 mobile Processor for an excellent performance / energy ratio. New features for the JRex 3,5“ Product family are 2 SATA II ports for fast HDD access and dual 10/100/1000 MBit LAN.

The JRexplus-690 still supports 1 PATA (IDE) interface, 6 USB 2.0 and legacy interfaces like 2 xRS232, 1x LPT and PS2 mouse / KB. 4 x GPIO and a CF card socket on the bottom side round off the list of interfaces. Add on I/O devices can be adapted via PCI-104™ bus compatible expansion slot with 32Bit / 33MHz PCI performance.

Designed around a revolutionary silicon-based storage architecture known as ioMemory, the ioDrive is the world’s most advanced NAND clustering technology with performance comparable to DRAM and storage capacity on par with today's hard disks — giving you the power to improve both memory capacity and storage performance by up to one thousand times.

The ioDrive is capable of over 120,000 random read/write IOPS and up to 700MB/sec read bandwidth.

Aitech M705 Multi-I/O Communications PMC provides multiple avionics style communication protocols (MILSTD- 1553, ARINC-429 and Serial I/O), all packed into a small single-wide PMC form factor specifically designed for harsh environments.

It offers a complete and unique solution for applications requiring diverse multiple avionics communication ports, eliminating the need for multiple cards and providing high flexibility for system integrators. Aitech C160 Core™2 Duo VME single board computer added. The C160 is a powerful processing platform achieved
using Intel's new Core2 Duo dual-core processor, the GM965 Express Chipset, the ICH8M I/O Controller Hub, and extensive supporting memory arrays.

It features up to 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, up to 8 GB IDE flash disk and a wide variety of I/O including two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two serial ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two SATA II interfaces, up to eight general-purpose discrete I/O channels, high definition stereo audio output and two industry standard PMC slots.

Kontron UGM-M72 universal graphics module added. The UGM standard is the first standard for embedded graphic cards - defines a 95 x 84 mm universal graphics-on-module which supplies monitors with all current and future graphic card signals in demand with a concept similar to COM Express.

The UGM-M72 is the first UGM graphics module that Kontron have produced. It features an ATI M72 (ATI Radeon™ HD2400) graphics processor with 128MB or 256MB of DDR3 memory.
