Tri-M Technologies TCB1000 product offers an all-in-one solution to all your communication needs. This versatile board simplifies your project by replacing up to three different modules on your PC/104 stack, reducing physical size, weight, power needs, cost and chance of failure.

The TCB1000 series' isolated dual CANbus controllers allow your system to connect to an external CANbus network without any risk of compromising the availability of your vehicle's CANbus communications. Four RS-232 serial ports and one RS-485 serial port allow you to control and monitor multiple devices. Two socket devices provide even more versatility by allowing you to connect to Wi-Fi, GRPS or CDMA networks or receive GPS signals.

Diamond Systems P104-GPIO1616 PCI-104 Digital I/O board added. P104-GPIO96 is a programmable PCI-104 DIO module using a high-capacity (700K gate equivalent) PCI Express FPGA for maximum density and flexibility. The base hardware configuration features 96 digital I/O lines grouped into 12 8-bit ports. All ports have I/O buffers to protect the FPGA and feature 5V logic drive levels. The ports are organized into a combination of byte-wide, nibble-wide, and bit-wide direction control for maximum flexibility and application compatibility.

Also available is a PCIe-104 variant called the E104-GPIO96 and a SUMIT-ISM variant called the SMT-GPIO96.

MEN Mikro DC2 touch display computer announced. The panel PC DC2 is a rugged, fanless and maintenance free human-machine interface for interactive applications in transportation and industrial automation. It is designed for panel mounting and equipped with a 10.4" 4:3 LCD TFT display with a capacitive touch panel.

The DC2 is controlled by the Intel® Atom™ XL Z520PT running at 1.33 GHz and comes with 1 GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a built-in 2GB microSD™ card. The standard interfaces comprise 2 Fast Ethernet (via RJ45 connectors) and 2 USB ports as well as four binary inputs (via the 10-pin power supply connector). The two Ethernet interfaces have switch functionality to provide Ethernet connection to subsequent intelligent displays. A temperature sensor is provided to monitor and control the display. All I/O signals are concentrated at the bottom of the unit.

Trimble ICM-SMT surface mount GPS disciplined clock available. The ICM-SMT clock outputs a precise 1 pulse-per-second (1PPS) and either a 10 MHz or 40 MHz frequency to maximize your network performance and synchronize systems at a global level. Custom frequencies are also available for volume sales.

It is equipped with the high-performance second generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor running at 2.1 GHz and offering the latest quad core processor architecture from Intel® with full 64-bit support. Trimble Zelia combined GPS antenna/receiver module added. Trimble's integrated antenna and GPS receiver product, Zelia, is comprised of the Trimble Condor C1011 GPS receiver and antenna element on an easily integrated module.

Aitech's M595 graphics XMC provides a high-performance, highly versatile embedded graphics solution for harsh environment applications. Designed around the AMD/ATI E4690 Graphics Dual Head Processing Unit, with its 512MB DDR3 SDRAM frame buffer array, the M595 can simultaneously drive two independent video streams in a wide variety of output formats.

Diamond Systems P104-DAQ1616 PCI-104 Analog I/O board added. P104-DAQ1616 is a PCI-104 data acquisition I/O card integrating Diamond's newest and fastest analog I/O technology and a PCI Express interface. This module offers 16-bit A/D sampling at 2MHz, supported with an expanded 16K-sample FIFO for reliable data collection in any operating system. Digital I/O features include seven 8-bit ports with both bit-wide and byte-wide direction control, two 32-bit up/down counter/timers with programmable input source and gate, and four 24-bit pulse-width modulation circuits with 0-100% duty cycle.

Also available is a PCIe-104 variant called the E104-DAQ1616 and a SUMIT-ISM variant called the SMT104-DAQ1616.

Aitech's C870 is a high-performance 3U VPX SBC (Single Board Computer) for embedded and harsh environment applications. The C870 is based on Intel's Calpella (Arrandale + ECC) platform, dual-core processor and four threads (Intel Hyperthreading Technology) with large integrated on-chip L1, L2 caches and shared L3 Cache with a companion QM57 PCH I/O controller hub.

Aitech's C110 is their first PowerPC based product targeting the new VPX (VITA 46.0) and OpenVPX (VITA 65) platforms. The C110 is a VPX SBC based on the Freescale MC8640D Integrated Dual-Core Processor with on-chip, high speed L1 and L2 caches. Memory resources include large and fast DDR2 SDRAM, NOR Flash for firmware, user application and data storage, MVRAM for user/application specific parameters storage, and a high-density NAND Flash array for mass storage.

Diamond Systems Epsilon PC/104 Gigabit Switch board added. Epsilon is a Layer 2 managed Ethernet switch module offering eight 10/100/1000Mbps copper twisted pair ports on a PC/104 form-factor board.

The Kontron ETXexpress®-SC Computer-on-Modules integrate the new monolithic Intel® microarchitecture with a CPU, graphics and ECC memory controller as well as a PCI Express controller all on an energy-efficient 32 nm die. First benchmarks show a performance gain of 205 percent for the CPU (Dhrystone Alu MIPS) and a 170 percent graphics performance improvement (3DMark06) as compared to platforms with the previous Intel® Core™ i7 processor and comparable core speed.
