Aitech Logo
Diamond Point International has announced that it has been appointed as the distribution sales partner for Aitech Defence Systems in the UK and Ireland. Diamond Point will offer and support the complete Aitech product line.

Fujitsu Siemens
Fujitsu Siemens D2151-S (microATX sized) & D2156-S (ATX sized) industrial motherboards added. These new industrial Pentium 4 (socket 775) motherboards feature the popular Intel 945G chipset. Unlike desktop motherboards, these boards are designed with an extended lifetime in mind - upto 48 months. Both boards are of course ROHS compliant.

Trimble Navigation
Trimble Acutime Gold added. Trimble's Acutime™ Gold GPS smart antenna marks the integration of the latest generation software GPS technology into a rugged self-contained unit that enables easy integration into any system. The Acutime Gold is a pole-mounted GPS receiver and antenna in a single environmentally sealed enclosure. The Acutime Gold GPS smart antenna design continues Trimble's line of GPS smart antennas, which have been in production since 1991. This antenna is the perfect solution for precise timing and network synchronization needs, including broadband wireless applications. It provides an extremely cost-effective and independent (within the firewall) timing source for any application, such as fault detection systems and synchronization of wireless networks. The Acutime Gold is ROHS compliant.

April 2006

Trimble Navigation
Trimble Copernicus added. The Copernicus GPS module is a complete drop-in, ready-to-go ROHS compliant GPS receiver that provides 12 channel GPS performance for surface mount mounting. It features the Trimble revolutionary TrimCore™ software technology for extremely fast startup times and high performance in foliage canopy and urban canyon environments.

Diamond Systems Corporation
Diamond Systems GPIO-MM added. This is a new ROHS compliant PC/104 I/O card featuring 10 16-bit counter/timers, 48 programmable digital I/O and 16 fixed-direction digital I/O. All is this is implemented as logic cores in a Xilinx FPGA (field programmable gate array) with 100,000 system gates and 40K RAM bits. The FPGA code is stored in a flash memory on the board, enabling GPIO-MM to be reprogrammed in the field with different designs, including custom designs. The factory configuration for GPIO-MM provides counter/timer and digital I/O features.

Diamond Systems Poseidon also added. This is a new ROHS compliant EPIC sized miniboard computer with either a 1GHz or 2GHz processor with onboard data acquisition. The 1GHz version is capable of extended temperature operation (-40 to +85 °C).

Kontron Embedded Modules
Kontron ETXexpress-CD added. This new ROHS compliant addition to the ETXexpress board range features the latest Intel® Core™ Duo processor and Intel® Core™ Solo processor as well as the Intel 945GM chipset.

March 2006

Kontron Embedded Modules
Kontron ETX-LX added. This new board from Kontron features the low power AMD LX800 processor which runs at 500MHz and takes just 0.9W. The board features a Compact Flash socket, onboard graphics, Ethernet, USB2 and the usual ETX features. This board is an ideal ROHS compliant replacement for the ETX-mgx (now obsolete) .

Kontron MOPSlcdLX added. This is a new PC/104 board featuring the AMD LX800 processor which runs at 500MHz and takes just 0.9W. The board has PC/104 AND PC/104+ interfaces, graphics, lan and USB and is ROHS compliant.
