December 2007

	Tri-M Engineering VSX104 added. The VSX104 is a new fanless PC/104 CPU board design from Tri-M featuring a complement of robust features such as extended temperature operation, quad RS232 ports and soldered DDR2 RAM integrated in a small, low power package.

	Kontron JRexplus-LX announced. The JRexplus-LX is the first in a new board range from Kontron featuring a low power fanless AMD LX800 CPU, PC/104 expansion, Gigabit LAN, SATA, USB2 all in a compact 3.5" form factor.




November 2007

	Kontron ETX®-PM3 announced. The ETX®-PM3 is an updated version of the popular ETX-PM module but has been updated to make it ETX specification 3.0 compliant.

	STEC Mach2 SSD drive range now available. The Mach2 is a new high performance but low cost product available in 1.8" IDE, 2.5" IDE and 2.5" SATA form factors. Extended temperature operation is available as an option.



October 2007

	Connect Tech Inc FlashDrive/104 added. Connect Tech's PC/104 Flash Drive is a flash based, solid-state storage module designed using the latest NAND technology. The board is initially available in 4GB and 32GB variants with optional industrial temperature capability. Connect Tech Inc FreeForm/PCI-104 added. FreeForm/PCI-104 is a flexible reconfigurable board that combines a user programmable FPGA with a 32-Bit, 33MHz PCI-104 interface. Also has two 10/100 Ethernet and two RS-485 serial ports. Connect Tech Inc Blue Heat/Net product range added. The Blue Heat/Net range enables you to connect any of your RS-232 or RS-422/485 serial devices directly to your Ethernet LAN. This gives you remote access to any serial device, reduces cabling costs and simplifies future installations and upgrades.



September 2007

	Kontron Embedded Modules CF-CARD-Adapter added. The CF-CARD-Adapter is a Compact Flash carrier board which mounts directly to compatible PC/104 CPU cards such as the MOPS/520 or MOPSlcdLX.

	Fujitsu Siemens D2703-S added. The D2703-S is a special designed miniITX mainboard for industrial applications. The board features the mobile AMD Sempron and dual core Turion processors, upto 8GB memory, 4 SATA 300 and 8x USB2.0 interfaces. The board has extended temperature operation as standard and will have an extended availability (up to 48 months).

	Connect Tech Inc Xtreme/104 Isolated added. The Xtreme/104 Isolated offers an industry first: 12 ports on its small, PC/104 form factor, including 8 switchable RS-232/422/485 ports and 4 dedicated RS-232 ports.

	Trimble Thunderbolt E GPS Disciplined Clock announced. The Thunderbolt® E is Trimble's latest offering for GPS synchronization devices targeting the wireless infrastructure. This fifth-generation GPS clock combines a 12-channel GPS receiver, control circuitry, and a high-quality ovenized oscillator on a single board, providing increased integrity and reliability at a lower size and cost.



June 2007

	Diamond Systems Emerald-MM-8PLUS 8 port PC/104plus serial card added. The Emerald-MM-8PLUS is a high performance multi protocol serial communications board offering eight ports on a single PC/104-Plus module. Supporting baud rates up to 921.6K bps in RS-232 mode or 1.8432Mbps in RS422 or RS485 mode, each port can be individually selected for RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 or TTL level operation.

	Brainboxes range of Bluetooth serial and PC adaptors added.

	RD103 rugged fanless Pentium® M DIN rail PC added. The RD103 is a Pentium M DIN rail PC, capable of operating fanless between 0° to 60°C. Available with upto 1GB of DDR memory and a wide range of industrial solid state flash drives, the RD103 is ideal for operating in environments CPU fans and rotating hard disks are undesirable.

	Quatech range of ExpressCard products added includes serial, sata, Ethernet & parallel based devices. Ideal for expanding connectivity on new laptops. Also added is Quatech's range of PCIexpress serial & parallel port cards.



May 2007

	Trimble Lassen DR+GPS module/kit announced. The Trimble® Lassen® DR+GPS combines dead reckoning (DR) with GPS to produce accurate and instantaneous positions, even under the most difficult conditions. For service providers tracking high-value or perishable cargo, Lassen DR+GPS dramatically improves quality of service (QoS) and customer satisfaction and retention, helping tracking service providers to maximize revenue opportunities.



April 2007

	STEC announce ZEUS IOPS solid state fibre channel drive. The ZEUS IOPS delivers the performance of 200 HDDs with just one drive (52000 IOPS). The drive is available initially in sizes of 18GB, 36GB, 73GB and 146GB with larger capacities (256GB & 512GB) soon.



March 2007

	Kontron Embedded Modules MOPS-PM Intel® Pentium® M based PC/104 sized (yes - Pentium® M on 96mm by 90mm!) announced. The board will initially be available with either a 600MHz, 1.0GHz or 1.4GHz processor with support of upto 1GB of DDR memory. The board will be available Q3 2007.

	Trimble Navigation TrimTrac 1.5 added. The TrimTrac 1.5 from Trimble is an updated version of their TrimTrac tracker. New features include GPRS communication support (with fallback to GSM if required, geofencing facility (so if an asset moves outside of a certain area, you will know about it), scheduled hours mode (so if an asset moves outside of working hours, you will know about it), two relay outputs (via control module - available soon) and more.

	Kontron Embedded Modules ETX-CN8 board announced. The ETX-CN8 is the latest is Kontron's range of ETX processor cards and is ETX revision 3.0 compliant. It features the VIA C7® processor and VIA Eden® processor as well as the VIA CN800 and VIA VT8251 chipset with processor speeds of 400MHz, 1.0GHz & 2.0GHz. Kontron ETX-CD specification also updated.

	Quatech announce that their range of PCI, universal PCI, USB and PCMCIA serial boards and PCMCIA Parallel port card are Windows Microsoft VISTA ready.

	Connect Tech Inc FreeForm/104 board announced. The FreeForm/104 is a PC/104 board featuring a Xilinx Spartan 3E FPGA (500,000 gates). The board comes with a standard configuration offering 96 digital I/O (8255 compatible) and 6 x 8254 counter/timers.

	Tri-M Engineering FlexTainer added. The FlexTainer is another rugged enclosure from Tri-M designed specifically for EPIC, miniITX & EPIC sized processor cards. The FlexTainer is ideally suited to harsh environments where vibrations are an issue.



January 2007

	STEC Mach1 drive added. The Mach1 is the latest in STEC's range of rugged solid state drive. The Mach1 is a 1.8" solid state drive featuring the popular ZIF style connector. The drive is available in sizes of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB. Each version is available in standard temperature (0°C to +70°C) and extended temperature (-40°C to +85°C).

	Diamond Systems Hercules II EBX Board added. Hercules II EBX is a high performance, RoHS compliant successor to the popular Hercules EBX first introduced in 2001. The original Hercules EBX board introduced a new level of integration in EBX format CPU boards. Combining processor, data acquisition, and power supply onto one board resulted in a thinner, lighter, more rugged, and easier to assemble embedded system.
