MEN Mikro F302 3U CompactPCI® Managed 8+1 Port Ethernet Switch announced. The F302 offers eight Fast Ethernet channels on RJ45, M12 or D-Sub, corresponds to the EN 50155 railway standard and provides a number of options for individual port configuration via a special service interface at the front.

MEN Mikro A20 VMEbus PC with two PMC/XMC Slots added. The A20 6U single-slot VMEbus SBC supports a variety of Intel® Core™ Duo and Core 2 Duo processors from the high-end 1.5 GHz L7400 to the low-voltage dual-core versions down to a selection of single-core Celeron® M types. It is designed especially for systems which require high computing and graphics performance and low power consumption in a typical Windows® environment, under VxWorks® or Linux.

MEN Mikro P602 Gigabit Ethernet XMC mezzanine card added. P602 is a Gigabit Ethernet XMC mezzanine card suitable for any XMC compliant single-board computer or host carrier board in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI™, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC

Aitech M590 board added. Based on the ATI M9 graphics processor, the new M590 Multi-standard Graphics and Video PMC uses dual independent graphics heads to simultaneously output information from two separate data streams to two different monitors, whether analog or digital. A host of channel-independent analog and digital video input and output formats are provided, including DVI, LVDS single/double link, progressive RGBHV/RGsB, RS-343 and composite/S-video supporting RS-170, NTSC and PAL, as well as internal or external sync.

Connect Tech Inc ComSync/PCI-104 board added. Connect Tech’s ComSync product family has expanded to include a PCI-104 platform option for your synchronous/asynchronous communications. Based on the PCI bus and a compact form factor, this two-channel, multi-protocol serial adapter offers high performance, reliable, synchronous or asynchronous serial communications for your industrial or embedded needs. The board supports seven software programmable electrical interfaces (RS-232, RS-422, RS-449, EIA-530, EIA-530A, V.35 and X.21) and rapid data transfer rates of up to 18.432Mbps per channel.

Fujitsu D2831-S and D2836-S added. The D2831-S (microATX) and D2836-S (ATX) are new industrial grade mainboards from Fujitsu.The boards support the latest socket 775 processors including support for the Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Q9xxx series. The boards feature up to 8GB DDRII SDRAM, dual Gigabit Ethernet, six SATA II ports (including RAID 0, 1, 5 & 10 support), onboard graphics, 8x USB2 & 2x RS-232. Extended temperature ranges, longlife capacitors and a special tin-plated PCB make these products an optimal hardware basis for industrial systems.

Kontron ETX-DC added. The latest ETX module from Kontron, the ETX®-DC, brings latest 45 nm technology to the well-established ETX® 3.0 form factor. The Intel® Atom™ N270 processor is well-balanced in terms of power consumption, performance and pricing (runs at 1.6GHz). Up to 2GB DDR2-SDRAM is supported, onboard graphics, 10/100 LAN, dual SATA, dual IDE, dual serial ports are provided. Long-term availability means that the ETX®-DC will be an ideal replacement for existing ETX® designs.

Diamond Systems Helios board added. Helios is a medium performance PC/104 form factor single board computer combining a low power, highly integrated CPU with Diamond Systems’ renowned high-accuracy data acquisition circuitry on a single board. Helios utilizes a 300MHz Vortex integrated single chip CPU and 128MB of RAM soldered on the board and features extended temperature operation as standard.

Diamond Systems Pegasus board added. Pegasus is a ruggedized single board computer offering mid‐range computing power in a compact, low power consumption PC/104‐Plus form factor single board computer. It is a superior choice for low power applications in harsh environments such as on the factory floor or in outdoor mobile applications.It features an AMD LX800 500MHz CPU, 256MB soldered DRAM, 2GB soldered IDE SSD, USB2, RS-232 (COM1), RS-232/422/485 (COM2), graphics and Ethernet.

Tri-M Technologies, Inc. VSX104+ added. The VSX104+ is a new fanless PC/104plus (PC/104 and PC/104+ interfaces) CPU board design from Tri-M featuring a complement of robust features such as extended temperature operation, dual LAN, quad RS232 ports and soldered DDR2 RAM integrated in a small, low power package.

Diamond Systems Rhodeus board added. Rhodeus is a fanless PC/104 SBC which features the AMD Geode LX800 low power consumption processor running at 500MHz, LAN, dual RS-232, CF socket and -20°C to +70°C operation.

Diamond Systems Diamond-MM-32DX-AT board added. DMM-32DX-AT is Diamond Systems' most advanced embedded A/D board. It includes a comprehensive suite of analog and digital features to fit a wide variety of embedded application needs.

Connect Tech Inc Xtreme/104-Plus Opto added. The Xtreme/104-Plus Opto is an extended temperature 2 or 4 Port PC/104-Plus RS-232/422/485 serial port card with each port optically isolated

Connect Tech Inc CANpro/104 Opto added. The CANpro/104 Opto is two port CAN PC/104 controller card featuring the SJA 1000 controller. The board has a wide operating system support and features extended temperature operation.

Kontron ETXexpress®-MC module added. Built around the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor (4MB L2, 800FSB) and Intel® GM965 chipset, the Kontron ETXexpress®-MC is the most robust and power-efficient computer-on-module currently available.

MEN Mikro DC1 display computer added. The DC1 is a rugged, fanless and maintenance-free panel PC for harsh, mobile and mission-critical applications in transportation, avionics, medical engineering and industrial automation. The DC1 features a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB DRAM, 4GB flash and -40 to +70(+85)°C operating temperature.

April 2008

Kontron nanoETXexpress-SP announced. The nanoETXexpress-SP is the first in a new range from Kontron featuring the Intel® ultra mobile processor Atom™ CPU, up to 1GB soldered memory, up to 2GB onboard flash, Gigabit LAN, SATA, USB2 all in a compact COM (computer on module) form factor.

The nanoETXexpress specification, a form factor driven by Kontron, is targeted to deliver extremely power-saving COMs with mid to high performance x86 technology on a footprint that is a mere 55 mm x 84 mm. This is 39 percent of the original COM/ETX Express™ module form factor.
