Introduction

This rugged, extended-temperature DC/DC power supply is designed specifically for mobile PC/104 computing applications. It consists of a PC/104 form factor module with complete DC-DC voltage regulator circuitry, heat sink, input and output connectors, power-good indicator, and both 8-bit and 16-bit PC/104 bus headers. Simply stack your CPU and other cards on top or below the power supply module to provide power to your PC/104 system.

The HE104 provides increased output power of 50W or 75W for heavy-duty applications and higher efficiency (up to 95%) for cooler operation. Increased input range of 6 - 40VDC and extended temperature operation increase this module's value and utility. Load dump and transient protection circuitry protect your PC/104 computer system from hazards on the main power supply. Standard output voltages are +5V and +12V; additional outputs of -5V and -12V are available as well (see ordering information).

Why choose a Tri-M power supply?

Tri-M power supply units use the highest quality components, which is why they are capable of operating as standard from -40 to +85°C. The heavier components are held to the board by straps so that in extreme heavy vibration environments, the components won't move (which in inferior products would eventually cause joint failures where components are continuously moving).
