Introduction

The Kontron PC/104-520 is a PC/104 CPU-Board that offers high reliability and performance at low power consumption – only passive cooling if at all – no moving parts. It‘s based on AMD™ SC520 at 133 MHz speed and enables applications with wide choice ISA IO performance requirements.

By the SMI LynxEM4+ Graphic controller (4MB Video RAM) besides CRT and TFT also (C-)STN flatpanels are supported.

Two versions with 32 MB or alternatively 64 MB SDRAM are available. As all Kontron PC/104-boards the PC/104-520 is Plug&Work compatible, which considerably reduces the time to market. In combination with our Compact Flash Adapter very rugged and reliable systems, even for rough applications, can be realized.
