Introduction

The R104 board from Tri-M is a a simple PC/104 opto isolated input and/or relay output card. Three versions are available:

  • R104-88 8 Inputs and 8 Relay Outputs
  • R104-DI 16 Opto isolated Inputs
  • R104-DO 16 Relay Outputs

The inputs are accessed through I/O memory reads. The inputs are grouped in sets of four, and the group I/O memory address is an offset from the base decode address.

The relays are accessed through I/O memory writes. The relays are grouped in sets of four, and the group I/O memory address is an offset from the base decode address.

R104-DI: 16 opto isolated digital inputs
R104-DO: 16 relay outputs

Input voltage:

Set via jumper:
4 to 5V
10 to 15V
24 to 28V
Other voltages can be implemented via external limit resistor in series with terminal 1 and 2.
e.g. A 50 to 100kohm resistor should work well for monitoring 110V DC input voltages.

Input optocoupler:

Liteon LTV844 (5kV isolation)

Outputs:

16 SPDT relays (form C relay contact)

Configuration:

I/O address set via jumper (240H, 260H, 280H or 300H)

5V

Operating Temp:

0 to +70°C

Size:
