Introduction

Versatainer EBX adaptor boardThe VersaTainer is a compact, rugged PC/104 module enclosure, similar to Tri-M's Can-Tainer. Like the Can-Tainer, it has a solid one-piece extruded body with internal and external shock and vibration protection. The difference is that the VersaTainer is wider than the Can-Tainer, providing generous internal space for connector and cabling requirements. For sizes VT8 and above, an optional EBX adapter (right) is available for mounting an EBX board.

Versa-Tainer Kit

The Versa-Tainer kit includes:

  • 1x Versa-Tainer body 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12".
  • 1x VT-EC00, Solid Endcap.
  • 1x VT-EC01, Endcap with 4x DB9 & 2x DB25.
  • 1x Anti-shock mounting pad.
  • 4x Corner Guides.
  • 8x Corner rubber stops.
  • 1x Tube CA glue.
  • 16x Endcap screws.

Endcaps

A wide range of endcaps are available - refer to the datasheet for more details Alternatively, custom endcaps are possible.Customers often have unique requirements for their I/O end caps. Therefore, we can produce customized and OEM versions of the VersaTainer end caps to meet your exact requirements. Simply modify the standard end cap drawings below, available in PDF and DXF, and email them back to us for a quotation.

NEMA Rating

NEMA rating of 4 when used with supplied gaskets (and suitable connectors)
IP and NEMA are similar enclosure ratings - NEMA4 is equivalent to IP66 according to most sources.

ROHS Status:

This product is lead free/ROHS compliant.
