Introduction

The NEAT-F9152-LF is an all in one Intel® Pentium® 479 based slot PIC-MG 1.3 (PCI + PCI express on separate edge connectors) board. The board takes upto a 2.06GHz socket 479 Intel® Pentium® M CPU from Intel and supports upto 2GB of DDR II memory via two 240 pin DIMM sockets.

Beside all standard interfaces (two COM ports, one as RS232, other as RS232/422/485, EPP/ECP parallel port, floppy, 6x USB, audio), a high speed on chip video controller (Intel® 915GV) is fitted. It can operate VGA and LCD flat panels in parallel even with different screen content. Two SATA interfaces, and one EIDE interface are available to support various mass storage devices. Additionally the board is equipped with an Ethernet 10/100Base-T interface (Twisted Pair) with a second Gigabit controller as an option

PIC-MG 1.3 (also known as SHB express) is a new specification from the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PIC-MG). A PICMG 1.3 processor card has four connectors. Connectors A and B (nearest edge bracket, connectors on right hand side in above picture) are for the PCIexpress signals. Multiple PCI Express links to the backplane can operate at x1, x4, x8, or x16 depending on the capabilities of both the host processor card and the backplane. Connector D is for the standard PCI signals. Connector C is for power and optional communication signals (optionally implemented).

The board is fully RoHS compliant.
