Introduction

Themis Computer's new TGA-100™ graphics accelerator is a high-performance, low-cost, 2-D graphics solution. Offered in a PMC form factor, the TGA-100 is compatible with Sun Microsystems™ XVR-100 graphics processing board and operates with Themis' new USPIIIi™ VMEbus computer, USPIIe-Gb™ and USPIIe-USB™ single board computer products.

The TGA-100 provides users in Solaris™ and Linux-based environments high screen resolutions, up to 1920 x 1200, while displaying up to 16.7 million colors. Themis' new TGA-100 boards are designed for use with analog CRT, flatpanel and 3-wire Sync-On-Green analog monitors. An optional DVI connector provides support for PanelLink compatible displays.

HD-15 and DVI-I video connectors provide users with both digital and analog video outputs as well the ability to drive two displays at up to 1920x1200 resolution. Compatible with the Sun Microsystems XVR-100 graphics technologies, the TGA-100 is supported on a wide range of Sun systems and supports Sun as well as VESA standards. Because Themis TGA-100 graphics accelerator supports the Solaris™ 8 and Solaris 9 Operating Environments, user software investments are protected. Providing native Solaris support and Sun XVR-100 compatibility in a PMC form factor, the TGA-100 is an ideal replacement for PMC graphics boards used in other operating environments.
