Designed for optimal performance, the single-processor System KISS 2U X9SCM supports quad-core/dual-core Xeon® processors in a high-dens 2U form-factor. The KISS 2U X9SCM is ideal for network infrastructure, front-end enterprise, and minimal-downtime cluster server systems at high temp environment .
The main attraction of KISS servers is their extremely low noise level, which is inaudible against normal conversation. KISS IPC servers are thus ideal for most noise - sensetive environments such as hospital operating theaters and computers server rooms. The performance and maximum configuration of KISS servers are based on Kontron‘s extensive range of CPU boards and backplanes, which means KISS systems have been designed for continuous operation and they are to be
available for at least the next five years. In addition to being CE certified, they are also suitable for integration in systems that require UL certification. The specified shock resistance is 15 g for 11 ms measured along six axes and the MTBF is 50,000 hours.
The system is based upon the SuperMicro X9SCM motherboard.
