Introduction

STEC, Inc. (formerly SimpleTech, Inc.) designs, develops, manufactures and markets custom memory solutions based on Flash memory and Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) technologies. Headquartered in Santa Ana, California, they specialize in developing high-density DRAM memory modules and high-speed, high-capacity Flash-based Solid State Drives (SSD's) and memory cards used in sensitive and highly-volatile environments. They offer a comprehensive product line of Flash and DRAM-based memory solutions used by original equipment manufacturers, or OEMs.

STEC believes that unique challenges demand unique solutions, and everything we do is to that end. By listening to their customers they are able to develop and support them on all levels of their evolving needs.

In 2005, STEC aquired Memtech, who Diamond Point were previously distributing. Diamond Point continues to distribute the Memtech line along with STEC's industrial flash drive range.
