Introduction

STEC's ZeusIOPS Solid State Drive is a high capacity, high throughput, rugged memory and storage solution for mission-critical systems in a variety of industries. It is used as a drop-in replacement for Fibre Channel hard disk drives.

The ZeusIOPS Solid State Drive breathes new life into an existing server storage infrastructure, raises productivity throughout the data chain and reduces the total cost of ownership. By reducing the access latency the ZeusIOPS Solid State Drive will greatly improve overall system performance, while accesses data in microseconds compared to milliseconds for hard disk drives. In fact, it takes over 200 hard disk drives to equal the performance of just one ZeusIOPS Solid State which means less servers and storage are needed to scale performance. It also means less server acquisition and maintenance costs, less volatile power and cooling cost, and fewer software licenses to buy.
