Introduction

This rugged 19" rack-mount VME enclosure is very compact in terms of overall size and depth, with eight horizontal slots for double-size Eurocards. 6U monolithic backplane supports 64-bit and 32-bit VMEbus as well as VME 2eSST, without P0 connector.The 400W open frame power supply has a 100 to 240V wide-range input.

The fan for the board ventilation is variable in speed, monitored by an FCM module. The enclosure gives just the flexibility required to set up a universal embedded solution, e.g. with a PowerPC® or Pentium® based single-board computer and several mezzanine carrier boards for I/O extension. The enclosure can also be used together with rear I/O cards.us for completely configured, wired and tested standard systems.
