Introduction

The TPPC64 expands the Themis 64-Bit VME64x product line yet again, with IBM's 970FX Superscalar RISC Processor. A TPPC64 can be configured with one or two 1.8GHz PowerPC 970FX Processors. The 970FX processor features VPX (AltiVec™ compatible) SIMD Vector Processing Units, bringing enterprise server class, 64-Bit RISC processing power and performance, to bandwidth intensive VME64x applications. Well equipped with multiple Gigabit Ethernet, USB, and Ultra320 SCSI interfaces this SBC brings high connectivity, VME64x, and Fast, Powerful Dual 64-bit Superscalar RISC Processing muscle to the VME market.
I/O expansion is supported via the on-board 64-bit/133MHz PMC Slot, and I/O expansion carrier card options support additional 64- bit/66MHz PMC slots.
