Introduction

The X-board evaluation board is a board for evaluating the X-board range of embedded PC modules. The board brings out 2 PCI interfaces, 1 mini-PCI interface, IDE and AC-97 audio. The board also of course provides power to the modules and sockets via an ATX PSU.

For development/programming, the board has a multi-I/O legacy controller which allows use of a floppy drive, 2 RS-232 serial ports and keyboard/mouse PS/2 ports.

Schematics for this evaluation board are freely available (see links below). This customers to get a head start on designing their own X-board design by basing their own design on the Kontron card.
