MEN Mikro's G25A is a 4HP/3U CPCI Serial CPU card with an Intel Xeon D-1500 processor, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, SATA, PCI Express and Gigabit Ethernet rear I/O interfaces. 

The versions of G25A with 4, 8 and 16 cores provide concentrated computing performance and are at the same time the basis for virtualization applications. The required abstraction of software from hardware is achieved by the CPU’s built-in hardware virtualization support, the organisation of the 32 GB DDR4 RAM and the scalability of the G25A standard models.

For security reasons a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is available. Safety functions are implemented using ECC for the RAM storage, a board management controller and a watchdog for the operating system.

While the G25A is prepared for conformal coating and can be equipped with a heat sink as well as being embedded into a conductive cooling frame, all components are by default firmly soldered and guarantee shock and vibration resistance. Therefore, the G25A is suited for applications outside of a protected server room as in a train or an aeroplane or of course also for complex applications in industrial environments.

The minimum standard availability of 7 years guaranteed by Intel and the implementation on the state-of-the-art CompactPCI Serial standard provide future-safety for the customer’s projects.
